Workplace Giving provides the majority of CANA funding and is essential to our continued work to help pets in need, while advocating around the causes that separate them from their people.
By donating a small amount from your pre-tax salary each pay, you can make an ongoing difference to pets and the people who love them.
Why Workplace Giving Matters for CANA
Your regular support firstly funds CANA members who provide food, veterinary care, shelter, support services and more – to help pets find homes. Secondly, you will be supporting CANA programs that keep pets with the people who love them, including:
- Building respect and empathy for pets through education
- Improving policy and systems that govern pets
- The role pets play in all stages of life, including aged care
- Pet friendly communities
Workplace Giving Partner JB Hi-Fi
Nicola has been an employee of JB Hi-Fi in Townsville, QLD, for more than 10 years and involved in their charity program Helping Hands since day one. Her donations are matched by JB Hi-Fi dollar for dollar and go to Companion Animal Network Australia.

If your workplace isn’t yet involved in Workplace Giving, it’s never too late to start. Talk to your HR or Payroll person about the benefits such as:
