Founded in 2007 as Animal Welfare League Australia Ltd. and now operating as Companion Animal Network Australia (CANA), our member network believes in the incredible value pets have on people and works toward a world where every pet is in a loving home.
Our members provide rescue, shelter, re-homing, fostering, health care and enrichment to more than 50,000 animals every year. CANA programs advance pet inclusion, compassion and animal welfare through education, animal management, community wellbeing and policies that help people and pets stay together.
